Lake Gardens Maa Sharada Welfare Society is a Non Government organisation and working voluntarily for the cause of the social welfare since 2012. The concept of formation of this society was attempted to help the elderly people, women and child for their better living. More so, for socio-economic concept the neglected section of the people particularly the women whom the self reliance and self income is a matter of fact at the present juncture and for such our society started to give training on the stitching and embroidery work in a suitable batch manner with free of cost since 2012 and thereby those section of the women are becoming financially viable to live with dignity.

Apart from above, our society aimed to give the lesson on the street children on their education supplying the stationeries with free of cost and used to teach them on the drawing and painting by the expert teacher in this arena so that those section of child may live with their successful living for getting betterment in their early life.

In regard to other concept of self reliance and self sufficient our esteemed society is involved in Teaching and Training on preparation of candles and dhoopsticks which the neglected section of society are participating in a batch manner and they are becoming finally self sufficient.

Society also is imparting training on the health arena. Initially, the course was for six months and training on Health Assistant/Care Giver and the said programme of training is being given to the unemployed youth and after successful training and qualifying they are given a practical training with Nursing Home, Private Hospital and the Government Hospital(Vidyasagar State General Hospital, Behala, Kolkata). Twice a week the classes are taken by our expert faculty consisting of Geriatric Physician, Child Specialist, General Physician, Orthopaedic Physician, Physiotherapist, Psychotherapist, Nursing Tutors and Dietician. Many fold training to the Health Assistant/ Care Giver are supporting to the unemployed youth for getting the private job and thus they are becoming self sufficient on completion of successful training. Society is also associated with various Homes and sending those trainees for serving the neglected section of the people living in the Home. Society also used to take programme on various seminar with alertness of Public Health and Hygiene such as Dengue, Malaria and also Seminar on Diabetic. Society also used to take programme on distribution of clothes in the festive season to the needy people at the remote village area and even in the urban area. Society also takes programme for distribution of blankets in the winter season to the needy distressed people.

By this way, society is working for the betterment of the people with the help of the members of the society, well-wishers and volunteer donors and even from Government of West Bengal for the noble cause.
